PM Deuba expresses commitment to ensure all support to senior citizens

August 22, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said there would be no situation for the people to live in the senior people home, but the government would extend its best possible support for the senior citizens.
PM Deuba said this on Saturday while inagurating the senior people home of Jyapu Samaj named Ananda Niketan at Lalitpur Metropolitan City-4 Bagdol in Lalitpur.
On the occasion, PM Deuba said the state would ensure senior citizens’ dignity.
He said the government was committed to providing every other support to the senior citizens.
Also speaking at the same programme, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand said that development of such elderly home for the social security of the senior citizens had given energy to many people.
Likewise, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal praised the Jyapu Samaj for discharging its national role by developing such home for the services of the seniors.
