UML chairman Oli extends sorrow over Sherchan’s death

Kathmandu, Aug 19 (RSS): CPN (UML) chairperson KP Sharma Oli has extended sorrow over the demise of Chairperson of Rajdhani News Publication, Mahendra Sherchan.

Sherchan died of a COVID-19 infection last night. He was also a vice-chairperson of Media Alliance and a member of Advertisement Board Nepal. He had served as a founding chairperson of the Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies (NAFEA) as well. Chairman Oli, issuing a message of condolence today, mentioned that late Sherchan had a notable contribution in the media sector in the country.

The message further reads that Sherchan was a member of the UML. The Chairman Oli also extended condolence to the bereaved family members of Sherchan.
