EC updates 35-member executive committee of JSP’s Yadav group

August 10, Kathmandu: The Election Commission(EC) has updated the 35-member executive committee of Upendra Yadav group of Janata Samajbadi Party(JSP).

The EC also updated the JSP’s decision of removing 16 members including Mahantha Thakur from the executive committee.

With the decision, 16 members of Thakur group have been removed from the executive committee and Thakur has lost his post of Chairperson of the party.

Earlier, Yadav had sent a letter to the EC asking it to update its 35-member central executive committee after EC gave legitimacy to Upendra Yadav group on July 26.
