Ruling coalition’s task force to finalize CMP on Wednesday

August 4, Kathmandu: The task force of the ruling coalition that met for the second time on Tuesday to finalize the common minimum programme (CMP) of the government is going to meet again on Wednesday to give the final shape to the CMP.
The Member-Secretary of the task force, Keshab Raj Joshi told the media that the meeting would give CMP a final shape on Wednesday and a report to this effect would be submitted to the top leaders.
The five-member task force headed by Nepali Congress general-secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka is working to finalize the CMP of the current government.
The task force formed to provide support to the government in its operations consists of general secretary Khadka and central member duo, Dr Minendra Rijal and Ramesh Lekhak from NC, Barshaman Pun and Dev Gurung from CPN (Maoist Center), and Mahendra Raya Yadav and Rajendra Shrestha from Janata Samajwadi Party.
The top leadership of the ruling coalition would chart out future strategies once it receives the task force report.
