Prime Minister Deuba takes oath of office and secrecy (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has administered the oath of office and secretary to newly appointed Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Nepali Congress President Deuba took the oath of PM’s post for the fifth time after his appointment following the Supreme Court’s verdict.

Earlier President Bhandari had appointed Nepal Congress President Deuba as per the clause 5 of the Article 76 of the constitution of Nepal.

Likewise, President Bhandari has also administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed four ministers.

PM Deuba appointed Congress leaders Balkrishna Khand as Home Minister and Ganendra Bahadur Karki as Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affaris and CPN Maoist Center leaders Janardan Sharma as Minister for Finance and Pampha Bhusal as Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.

Former Prime Ministers, leaders of various political parties, and high level officials among others were present on the occasion.
