Italy wins European Championship 2020 defeating England 3-2 in penalty shoot-out

July 12, Kathmandu: Italy has won the “European Championship 2020” defeating England in a penalty shootout in the final match played at the prestigious Wembley Stadium of London on Sunday.

Italy won the European Championship for the first time since 1968.

There have been scenes of celebrations and happiness across Italy after their football team defeated England 3-2 on penalties.

Fans across the England were expecting to bring home the Championship title after the long gap of winning the major trophy.

England had defeated West Germany in the World Cup final 4-2 in 1966.
