UML taskforce nearing agreement

July 8, Kathmandu: The taskforce formed to sort out the intra-party disputes of the ruling party the CPN-UML has neared to a conclusion.

After the meeting of the taskforce at Singh Durbar yesterday, the attendees of the meeting shared that the meeting was positive and it was nearing consensus.

Party spokesperson and task-force member Pradeep Kumar Gyawali said the discussion had moved positively and the problems would be sorted in the meeting today.

Likewise, another member of the taskforce Gokarna Bista also reaffirmed the message delivered by party spokesperson Gyawali.

Leader Bista said they had almost forged a consensus on the issues regarding returning to the party’s status before May 16, 2018, managing new entrants from the CPN Maoist Centre and issues related to the case sub judice at the Supreme Court.
