Over 1,100 foreign nationals enter Nepal in June

July 5, Kathmandu: As many as 1,143 foreign nationals have arrived in Nepal in June.

The Department of Immigration said the foreign nationals from 111 countries entered Nepal through chartered and rescue flights amid the second wave of COVID-19 when the country had suspended international flights.

In the same month, altogether 3,606 foreign nationals and 9,651 Nepali people had left the country.

As per the data with the Department, the country witnessed the highest number of foreign nationals arrival in April.

In April, 22,450 foreign nationals from 144 countries entered the country.

Within these first 6 months, of 2021, 58,058 foreign tourists have entered the country.,
