Flood damages bridge over Karnali River disrupting transportation

June 27, Kailali: The bridge over the Karnali River that links Tikapur in Kailali district and Rajapur in Bardiya district has been breached due to flooding.

Transportation along the Postal Highway has also been halted due to flood.

Sub Inspector of Police, Lokendra Chand, said that the efforts were underway to reduce further risk.

The local people have blamed the concerned authority to control the effects despite repeated calls in this regard.
