President Bhandari appoints 20 officials for various constitutional bodies

June 25, Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has appointed 20 officials of various constitutional bodies on the recommendation of the constitutional council.

According to the Statement issued by the President’s Office on Thursday, Dr. Hari Paudel and Dr. Sumitra Shrestha were appointed as commissioners at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority.

Likewise, Madhav Prasad Regmi had been appointed Chairperson of the Public Service Commission.

Accordingly, Sagun Shamsher JBR had been appointed as the Election Commissioner of the Election Commission of Nepal.

Furthermore, Dr Ram Krishna Timalsena was appointed as the Chairman of National Inclusion Commission .

Similarly, various other members were also appointed in these constitutional bodies.

With the appointments, the constitutional bodies have full membership after remaining vacant for a long time.
