Two die after consuming wild mushroom

June 9, Ilam: Two persons here have died after consuming curry made of wild mushroom.

Those deceased have been identified as  50-year-old Tika Bahadur Rai and 52-year-old Jit Bahadur Rai of Sandakpur Rural Municipality-1 Kholghari of Ilam district.

Police said they had died in course of treatment at the B&C Hospital in Birtamode.

Other family members who also fell ill after consuming wild mushroom curry had returned home after recovery.
