BAN president Neupane dies of COVID-19

Inaruwa, May 28: Broadcasting Association of Nepal (BAN) president Chandra Neupane has passed away on Friday morning. He was 50. Neupane died of COVID-19 at Birat Medical College where he was undergoing treatment, Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Sunsari president Janak Rishi Rai said.

He was admitted to the Birat Medical College after a coronavirus infection was confirmed in him on May 11. He was kept on a ventilator after his health condition became serious.

Neupane was the Station Manager of Saptakoshi FM in Itahari. He was also a member of the Advertising Board.
