Sino-Nepal relations strong and historic: DPM Pokharel

May 26, Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel has praised the Sino-Nepal relations as friendly, strong, and historic.

In a virtual meeting between major political parties of Nepal and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on Wednesday, DPM Pokharel asked for CCP’s help in providing COVID-19 vaccines to Nepal.

The DPM requested the Chief of the International Department of the CPC Song Tao for vaccine aid, according to DPM’s press advisor Ganesh Pandey.

CPN-UML General Secretary Pokharel also emphasized the need for concrete collaboration between the two countries for vaccines.

On the occasion, Chief of the International Department of the CCP Song Tao said China had kept Nepal in high priority in providing medical aid in this hour of need.
