Six corona related deaths reported in Banke, Chitwan and Makwanpur districts

Banke, May 5: Two more Covid-19 infected people have died in Banke district in the past 24 hours. They died at various hospitals in the district. With this, the death toll from the deadly infection in the district has hit 145.

A 60-year-old infected man of Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City-4 died at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj and a 27-year-old man of Duduwa Rural Municipality-5 at Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur, said a resource person at the district Covid-19 crisis management centre, Tej Oli.

Similarly, three more Covid-19 patients have died in the Chitwan district in the past 24 hours. They died at various hospitals in the district.

A 45-year-old man of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-25 died at Bharatpur Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital on May 2 for pneumonia and was tested positive for the virus on May 3, said the hospital.

Likewise, a 42-year-old man of Butwal Sub Metropolitan City-9 died at Chitwan Medical College. He was admitted to the hospital on May 4 for respiratory problems. He was tested positive for the infection the same day.

Another deceased is a 42-year-old man from Bhumikasthan-1 in Argakhanchi district, who died at Chitwan Medical College. He was admitted to the hospital on May 4 after complaining of respiratory problems. He was found infected with the virus on May 3.

Similarly, one more person died due to Corona Virus infection at Hetauda Hospital this morning.

A 68-year-old man of Makawanpurgadhi rural municipality-5 in Makawanpur district died in course of treatment at Hetauda Hospital, said COVID In-Charge of the Hospital, Dr Sagar Kafle. The person had tested positive for Corona Virus on April 27 and was admitted to the hospital on April 28.

With this, the number of people who died from Corona Virus at Hetauda Hospital has reached six, according to the Hospital.
