Government postpones National Population Census

May 4, Kathmandu: The Government has postponed National Population Census, 2078 B.S  following the rapid increase in Corona Virus cases.

Deputy Director General at Central Bureau of Statistics Dr. Hemraj Regmi informed that National Population Census had been postponed as various preparations including training could not proceed at this moment.

Earlier, the National Population Census was scheduled to be held from June8-22 this year. ##
