Health Ministry reports record high 7211 single day Covid-19 cases

May 2, Kathmandu: The Health Ministry on Sunday has reported 72 hundred and 11 new corona virus infection cases in the last 24 hours. This is the record breaking daily rise in corona cases in Nepal since the pandemic began.

Similarly, 16 hundred and 12 people recovered from the infection in the same period.

As per the Ministry’s update, Nepal’s active corona infection cases have crossed 48 thousand and 7 hundred.

The ministry reported 27 corona related deaths in the past 24 hours. This has pushed Nepal’s corona related death toll to 33 hundred and 25.
