Country marking 6th Earthquake day amid various programs
April 25, Kathmandu: Nepal is marking the 6th anniversary of Gorkha Earthquake amid various programs.
On this same date in 2015, around 9 thousand people were killed, thousands were injured, and hundreds of thousands of structures were damaged in Nepal due to the devastating Earthquake of 7.8 magnitude, which had its epicenter at Barpak of Gorkha district.
The National Reconstruction Authority is organizing a workshop on Sunday , to discuss on the impacts, achievements and lesson gained from the Gorkha Earthquake.
Spokesperson at the National Reconstruction Authority Manohar Ghimire has said papers will be presented during the program and experts will comment on it.
The reconstruction of the structures which were damaged in the Gorkha Earthquake had reached to the final stage.
