Second-dose of Covid-19 vaccine from today !

April 20, Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal (GoN) is administering the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine from Tuesday.

The second-dose vaccination drive is targeted at those who had received the first dose during a period between January 27 and February 22.

Chief of Child Health and Vaccination Section under the Department of Health Services, Dr Jhalak Sharma Gautam informed that the receivers of the first dose of ‘Covishield’ can visit the vaccination centres from Tuesday to April 24 to take the second dose.

The GoN had administered the Covishield to some 1.8 million people in the first phase.
