Prime Minister Oli addressing the annual general meeting of FNCCI

March 11, Kathmandu: PM KP Sharma Oli has urged the business community to invest in the country without any doubt for boosting productions.

Addressing the 55th Annual General Meeting of the Federation of Nepalese Commerce and Industries and the Industry and Commerce Day celebration program in Kathmandu on Saturday PM Oli urged all professionals and individuals to work actively for the development of the country.

The PM also said the government had been working seriously to reduce the trade deficit.

He further said the government has fixed a lower ceiling of foreign investment for bringing in larger foreign direct investment saying the smaller investment would not be enough to realize the dream of Happy Nepali and prosperous Nepal.

Stressed on the need of having a double-digit economic growth rate to attain the Sustainable development goals set by the United Nations, the PM said the incumbent government had been moving ahead with a clear road map to meeting the UN sustainable development target.

Expressing his concerns over the second wave of corona infection, PM Oli urged all to remain alert and following precautionary measures to avoid untoward situations.
