Vaccines received from China to be administered from April 7

April 4, Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal (GoN) has decided to administer the Covid-19 vaccines, which were received from the Chinese government under grant assistance, to people from April 7.
Speaking at a press briefing organized at the Health Ministry on Sunday, the Ministry’s Spokesperson, Prof. Dr. Jageswor Gautam informed that the anti-covid-19 vaccine, Vero Cell, would be rolled out from the designated hospitals in the Kathmandu Valley.
He further informed that the decision was made to vaccinate people involved in essential services, students studying under Chinese government scholarship schemes and students preparing to pursue higher studies in China, and people associated with trans-Himalayan trade.
