CPN-UML suspends leaders duo Nepal and Rawal from party membership for six months

March 29, Kathmandu: The CPN-UML has suspended leaders duo Madhav Kumar Nepal and Bhim Rawal from the party membership for six months.

Chairperson of the CPN-UML and Prime Pinister K P Sharma Oli, writing separate letters to leaders Nepal and Rawal, suspended them from the general membership of the party for six months.

The letter has stated that the clarification responses given by the leaders duo were not found satisfactory and the decision of suspension was made for them to correct themselves.

The letter further mentions that the action was taken against leaders  Nepal and Rawal as they were involved in the factional activities against the party’s spirit and unification.

The CPN-UML has also sought clarification from party leaders Surendra Pandey and Ghana Shyam Bhusal today itself.

The Party says further clarification was sought from leaders duo Pandey and Bhusal as they did not respond to the earlier clarification from the party.
