Chinese vaccine arrives!  

March 29, Kathmandu: The Covid-19 vaccine provided by the Chinese government to Nepal as medical aid has arrived in the capital city Kathmandu.

The aircraft belonging to the national flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporations (NAC), which had gone to Beijing to get the 8 hundred thousand doses of the anti-Covid vaccine  ‘Vero Cell’, landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at 8:42 am on Monday.

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi handed over the vaccine to Minister for Health and Population Hridyesh Tripathi amid a ceremony at TIA.

The anti-Covid vaccine has been produced by the Chinese state-owned pharmaceutical company Sinopharm.
