Chinese vaccine destined for Nepal reach Beijing International Airport

March 27, Kathmandu: The 80,0000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine being provided by China to Nepal have reached the Beijing Capital International Airport, according to the Chinese embassy of Nepal.

The national flag carrier- Nepal Airlines Corporation’s (NAC) aircraft is flying to the Chinese capital on Sunday to bring essential medical supplies including the Covid-19 vaccine.

The Corporation’s Wide Body A330 aircraft will return to Kathmandu with the medical equipment brought from China on the following day (Monday).

The meeting of the Council of Ministers on March 14 had decided to accept the aid materials including the vaccine against Covid-19 being provided by the Chinese government.
