Speaker Sapkota and Pakistani Ambassador Shah hold cordial meeting

March 25, Kathmandu: Speaker of the House of Representative (HoR) Agni Prasad Sapkota and Pakistani Ambassador to Nepal Syed Haider Shah on Thursday held a cordial meeting at Sighadarbar.

On the occasion, Speaker Sapkota expressed happiness over unhindered friendly ties between Nepal and Pakistan for the last 61 years and said both countries could collaborate in mountaineering, hydropower and other sectors.

Similarly, Ambassador Shah vowed to lobby for collaboration on trade and other sectors between the two countries. He also expressed Pakistan’s belief in achieving peace and prosperity through the South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC).
