President Bhandari calls for collaboration among political parties
March 16, Kathmandu: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has stressed the need for collaboration among political parties in the present situation.
Speaking at the all-party meeting organized at Sitalniwas on Tuesday, president Bhandari informed the leaders about her scheduled Bangaladesh visit.
The President also said her attention had been drawn by the issues of education, health and global warming.
After the meeting, CPN UML’s leader Subash Chandra Nembang said the meeting dwelled on contemporary issues.
Similarly, Nepali Congress’s senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel stated the president informed about her scheduled Bangaladesh visit and her concerns on major issues including education and health.
Likewise, Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center)’s leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha said the meeting centred on the current pressing issues including climate change.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Deputy Prime Minister Iswor Pokhrel, Nepali Congress President Ser Bahadur Deuwa, Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre)’s chair Puspa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, People’s Socialist Party’s Chair Mahanta Thakur among others were present in the meeting called by the president.
