Health Ministry urges not to deprive senior citizens lacking identity cards of receiving Corona Vaccine

March 8, Kathmandu:The Ministry of Health and Population has urged all the concerned sides not to deprive senior citizens lacking identity card of receiving the anti-corona virus vaccine.

Speaking at a press briefing at the Health Ministry on Monday,Spokesperson of the Ministry Prof. Dr. Jageswor Gautam urged all to make arrangement to vaccinate the senior citizens lacking identity card, against the covid-19 with the recommendation letter from the concerned Ward Office.

The Ministry’s request came after complaints about senior citizens missing covid-19 vaccine due to their inability to provide identity card disclosing their age in the vaccination center.

Meantime, the ministry of Health and Population had reported 89 new corona virus infection cases in  on Monday with 42 recoveries.

As per the Ministry’s update, Nepal’s Corona related death toll has reached 3 thousand and 11 with the confirmation of one additional death on Monday.
