Team comprising a member of Bahrain royal family to climb Mt Everest   

March 3, Kathmandu: A 16-member team comprising a member of the royal family of Bahrain is arriving in Nepal to climb Mt Everest.

The team includes the Prince of Bahrain, Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Issuing a press release, Nepali Embassy in Bahrain has confirmed the royal’s Nepal visit saying the team will leave for Nepal on March 15.

The team comprising 13 Bahrainis working at Bahrain Royal Guard and three British nationals would stay in Nepal for 79 days.

The team had successfully climbed Lobuche Peak and Mt Manaslu in 2020.
