China to provide 800k doses of coronavirus vaccine to Nepal

March 2, Kathmandu: The Chinese government has announced to provide additional 300,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine in grant assistance to Nepal, increasing the total doses to be given to Nepal from 500,000 to 800,000.

“In order to support Nepal’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chinese government has decided to increase grant assistance of vaccine for Nepal to 800,000 doses,” Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi wrote in her Twitter handle.

Ambassador Yanqi has also urged one and all to join hands to achieve the victory against the coronavirus at an “early date”.
