Minister Shrestha and Chinese Ambassador Yanqi inspect Durbar High School

February 27, Kathmandu: Minister for Education, Science and Technology Krishna Gopal Shrestha and Chinese Ambassador Hou Yanqi inspected the newly constructed Durbar High School on Friday.
The school destroyed by the 2015 Gorkha Earthquake was reconstructed with the assistance of the Chinese government.
Minister Shrestha along with the Chief Executive Officer of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), Sushil Gyawali, and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Yanqi, made an onsite inspection of the reconstructed school building.

On the occasion, they also handed over the stationaries and sports equipment to the students.
The school was reconstructed at the cost of Rs 850 million with the Chinese grant.
There are 42 rooms in the four-story building.
The school building has many amenities such as the library and the science laboratory.
The building houses two schools – Bhanu Secondary School and Sanskrit Secondary School.
