Israeli expertise imperative for uplifting Nepal’s information technology sector : Minister Gurung

February 23, Kathmandu: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Parbat Gurung has said the technological skills, knowledge and experiences of other friendly nations will be instrumental for Nepal, as the Government of Nepal (GoN) has prioritized the development of the information technology sector.

During a cordial meeting with the ambassador of Israel to Nepal Hanan Godar at the Ministry of Communication on Monday, Minister Gurung said the GoN had prioritized the implementation of the ‘Digital Nepal Framework’.

The Minister thanked the Israeli government for supporting the development of the agriculture sector of Nepal, along with providing employment to Nepali migrant workers.

On the occasion, Israeli envoy Godar said the Israeli government was ready to extend support for Nepal’s agriculture, tourism, and science and technology sectors.
