Wounds of conflict should be healed with forgiveness and assistance: PM Oli

February 18, Kathmandu: PM KP Sharma Oli has promised to form a special task force to address the grievances of the victims of the 10-year-armed conflict.

While discussing with the family members of the deceased security personnel and the injured security officers at Baluwater on Thursday, PM Oli promised to resolve their problems constituting a task-force.

The PM said the wounds of the conflict should be healed with forgiveness and assistance addressing the needs of the victims.

Saying the politics of revenge should be shunned, the PM acknowledged that those victim families who weren’t able to receive pension suffered badly.

The PM also stressed on the need of addressing the grievances of excluded fighters along with those who got wounded or expired.
