Police unveils the boy accused of Baitadi rape and murder case

February 18, Baitadi: The District Police Office Baitidi on Wednesday made public the accused of the rape and murder of the 17-year-old girl from Dogada Kedar of Baitadi district.

The police unveiled the accused, a boy studying in grade 11 from Sanatan Dharma Secondary School of Dogada Kedar amid a press meet.

After concluding the 13 days of investigation, the police reported having reached the accused based on the evidence and the statements the accused furnished.

Far-Western Police Chief Uttam Raj Subedi confirmed the confession from the accused.

The accused was also reported to have been involved in the demonstration demanding justice for the murdered girl.
