Japanese Ambassador bids farewell to the PM

February 18, Kathmandu: Ambassador of Japan to Nepal Masamichi Saigo on Wednesday held a farewell meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at Baluwatar.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli thanked Ambassador Saigo for his role in forwarding the Nagdhunga tunnel way and bolstering Nepal-Japan relations.

PM Oli also expressed a hope that the heads of the state of two friendly nations, Japan and Nepal, would exchange visits soon.

Ambassador Saigo also thanked Nepal government for all the support during his term in office in Nepal.

Ambassador Saigo returned home on Wednesday, completing his 2 years and 9 months term in office.
