Senior citizens to be vaccinated from March 7

February 18, Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal (GoN) is administering the Covid-19 vaccine to senior citizens starting from March 7.

Speaking at the press briefing on Wednesday, Spokesperson of Ministry of Health and Population, Prof. Dr Jageswor Gautam informed that the senior citizens above 60 would be vaccinated against covid-19 from all the vaccination centres across the country.

Prof. Dr Gautam said the ministry had decided to take actions and issue warnings to the hospitals which do not update data of corona related deaths and report it to the ministry.
