PM Oli stresses on strict monitoring of project implementation

February 11, Kathmandu: PM KP Sharma Oli has stressed on the need of strict monitoring of the project implementation for good governance and transparency.

Addressing a programme at Baluwatar on Thursday that witnessed an agreement between the Social Welfare Council and the Universities regarding project evaluation, the Prime Minister said study monitoring and analysis are the effective means to make projects and ongoing works result-oriented.

He said for the realization of the motto of Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepali there was a need of a fearless environment that ensures social justice, equity and rights. He also claimed the government to have been working for creative such fearless environment.

With this agreement, the university students would get an opportunity to evaluate the implementation of the projects with investment of than 10 million rupees.

Also addressing the programme, Women, Children and Senior citizen Minister Julie Kumari Mahato said the new programme had commenced with the aim of maintaining good governance and making social service sector result oriented.
