Fuel prices go up

February 11, Kathmandu: The government has increased the price of petroleum products from midnight on Thursday.

The price of liquefied petroleum gas or LPG used as cooking gas has been increased by 25 Rupees per cylinder.

Likewise, the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene has increased  by 2 Rupees  per litre. The new rate of petrol will now be 112 Rupees per litre while diesel and kerosene will cost 95 Rupees  per litre.

The price of aviation fuel remains the same.

The Nepal Oil Corporation in a statement  issued on Thursday stated that the price was  increased following an increase by the Indian Oil Corporation that supplies fuel to Nepal Oil Corporation.
