President Bhandari issues CIEDP Ordinance

February 6, Kathmandu: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has issued the ‘Ordinance on Enforced Disappearances Inquiry, Truth and Reconciliation Commission (Third Amendment), 2077 BS in line with the Nepal’s Constitution.

A press release issued by assistant spokesperson of the President’s Office, Keshab Prasad Ghimire stated that President Bhandari issued the ordinance on Friday as per the Article 214 (1) of Nepal’s Constitution on the recommendation of Council of Ministers.
