PM Oli says Nepal’s federal democratic republic unshaken due to people’s growing awareness

February 5, Kathmandu: Nepal Communist Party Chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said Nepal’s Federal Democratic Republic is so secured that no one can take over it under any circumstances.

Addressing a mass gathering organized by the Nepal Communist Party in Kathmandu today, Prime Minister Oli stated that Nepal’s federal democratic republic would remain preserved forever due to growing awareness and consciousness among people.

PM Oli added that the government was working to modernize agriculture, open industries, and create employment opportunities utilizing natural resources to end youth’s compulsion to seek foreign employment.

Stating that the government was active for the prosperity and development of the nation, PM Oli claimed that the government has gained significant achievements in the fields of development and construction work.

He said the government constructed nearly 6 thousand kilometres concrete road and more than 4 hundred bridges within the last three years. The PM also claimed to have gained pace in solving problems of irrigation and inundation in Terai, replacing rope bridges and completing long-term strategic projects including the Postal Highway.

Claiming the legitimacy over the Nepal Communist Party, the PM urged party leaders and cadres not be misled by rumors.

He said the party’s legitimacy does not come from the majority of a committee but from the public base.

Also addressing the programme, Deputy PM Ishwor Pokhrel said they were ready to face any kind of adversary for the stability and prosperity of the country.

He claimed that the leaders under KP Oli were organized to end anarchist forces trying to impose instability in the country.

Likewise, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa said the latest political situation was the by-product of conspiracies against the PM and President.

He also claimed that the government was capable of controlling illegal activities in the name of agitations.
