Telecom must update itself : Minister Gurung

February 5, Kathmandu: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Parbat Gurung has urged state-owned telecommunication service provider Nepal Telecom to enhance its service quality to win the confidence of the service seekers.

Addressing the 17th-anniversary function of the Nepal Telecom on Thursday, Minister Gurung said the Telecom must modify itself as per the changed context.

He also stressed on the Nepal Telecom playing a vital role in the development of the country.

Also addressing the programme, Secretary at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Hari Pd Basyal asked the Telecom to address the grievances of people .
