Minister Gyawali pledges to coordinate international help and observation programmes for elections

February 3, Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has pledged to coordinate the international help and observation programmes for the upcoming elections.

In a meeting with between the Election Commission (EC) and Minister Gyawali on Wednesday, the EC officials briefed the Minister about the necessary preparation and management for the upcoming elections.

Chief Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya said for the credibility of the election, international approval was necessary.

TheEC has sought the Ministry’s coordination to manage the international election observation for the upcoming election for the House of Representatives.
