NAS calls for logo for 8th national astronomy Olympiad

January 25, Kathmandu: Nepal Astronomical Society (NAS) has hosted a logo competition as part of its preparation for the Olympiad. The NAS has solicited calls for a logo from January 24 to February 1, NAS Chairperson Suresh Bhattarai said.

The best logo would be awarded a cash prize of Rs 5,000 along with a certificate. Also, the best logo would be the official logo of the ‘8th National Astronomy Olympiad, 2021’.

According to the NAS, it has been annually organizing logo competitions since 2013 as part of the public awareness campaign on Olympiad. The NAS has opened the participation of logo designers in the competition is not limited to school-level participants.

Chairperson Bhattarai further informed that the competitors can submit their creations through the website www.nepalastronomicalsociety.org/olympiad.
