Three killed, ten injured in road accident

January 20, Sunsari: Three people have died and 10 others sustained  injuries in a road accident that occurred at Duhabi municipality-10 of Sunsari district.

The accident took place on Wednesday when a micro-bus and a motorcycle coming from opposite direction collided with each other.

The deceased have been identified as motorcycle rider, Birkha Mandal,44, of Inaruwa-3 and 22-year-old Shanker Yadav of Rajbiraj, Saptari.

Police said an identity of a woman who died in the accident was yet to be ascertained.

The injured are undergoing treatment at various local medical centers of the district.##
