Minister Gyawali in Indian capital for Joint Commission Meeting

January 15, Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali reached Indian capital New Delhi on Thursday to participate in the sixth meeting of Nepal-India Joint Commission.
Minister Gyawali was welcomed at Indira Gandhi International Airport by Nepali Ambassador to India Nilambar Acharya. Minister Gyawali and India’s External Affairs Minister Jaishankar Subrahmanyam would co-chair the meeting.
Minister Gyawali is scheduled to meet high-level officials of the Government of India during his visit to India, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Acharya met with Army Chief of India Bipin Rawat on Thursday.
According to the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi, issues related to Nepal-India bilateral concerns were discussed at the meeting.
