Polling centres in convenient places: CEC Thapaliya

January 12, Kathmandu: Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya has stressed on setting up polling booths and centres in convenient places.

While imparting training to district election officers on updating voters’ list and managing polling booths on Monday,Thapaliya suggested them to work on election-related activities by minimizing the errors.

The two-day online training was organized for the election officers.

CEC Thapaliya directed the officials to move forward in election-related activities following prevalent laws.

He also urged to update the voters’ name list to entrants who reached 18 till the announcement of election date.
