All should work together for promoting the tourism sector : Minister Gurung

Kathmandu- Minister for Communications and Information Technology  Parbat Gurung has urged all sides to play a constructive role for the promotion of the tourism sector in the country.

At a program organized by the Philatelic and Postage Stamp Management Office under the Postal Service Department to affix the cancellation on Thursday, Minister Gurung lauded the role of postal stamps in publicity of natural and cultural heritages of Nepal.

He also stressed on the need of publicity of local tourist destinations, religious areas, and cultural diversity for advertising them in the global tourism market.

Also speaking on the occasion, Secretary at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology Hari Prasad Basyal highlighted the roles of postal stamps in honouring the renowned personalities in the nation and promoting Nepali culture, art, and tourism  destinations.
