Kathmandu-The Ministry of Health and Population has decreased the time for the COVID-19 infected persons' stay in quarantine and isolation, from 14 to 10 days. Prior to this, the infected persons were required to stay in quarantine or isolation for 14 days. Joint Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health, Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari said the quarantine period had been reduced as various studies confirmed corona transmission was not possible after 10 days of infection on a person.
