World should appreciate the role played by the Himalayas : P.M. Oli

Kathmandu- Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli has said that Nepal is always determined to minimize the ill effects of the climate change and is committed to use the measures that will help the world resolve the issues caused by the global warming.

Addressing a summit to mark the fifth anniversary of the Paris climate agreement,  P.M. Oli said Nepal had prioritized production of clean and renewable energy sources for the protection of the environment and  the planet.

P.M. Oli also urged one and all to appreciate the role played by the Himalayas for controlling global warming and maintaining ocean’s health and marine ecosystem.
