Royal Bengal tiger spotted in Ilam at the altitude of over 3 thousand

Ilam- A Royal Bengal tiger has been spotted at the altitude of 3,165 meters in Ilam district.

One of 20 cameras installed at Kanchenjunga circuit captured the image of the tiger, said the Department of Forest and Soil Conservation.

Royal Bengal tigers are general found in low lying areas. But finding one is such an altitude has been received with much astonishment.

There are around 235 Royal Bengal tigers in Nepal.
