Four people killed and seven injured in jeep accident in Humla

Four people died on the spot while seven others including a child were injured in a road accident that took place near Jabuka of Dandafaya in ward no. 7 of Simkot rural municipality last night.

DSP at the District Police Office, Surya Prakash Subedi said, the jeep was carrying a sick person from Hepkakhola to Simikot when the accident took place.

The deceased have been identified as Parbat Sunar, of ward no-7 of Simkot rural municipality, Paras Bohara, of ward no. 2 of the same municipality, Dukhi Tamang, and Guru Tamang, of Namkha rural municipality-1.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the district hospital in Humla. The condition of two of the injured is reported to be critical.

The Jeep fell some 600 meters below the road.
