Finance Ministry directs Beema Samiti to immediately provide Covid-19 insurance   

Kathmandu- The Finance Ministry has directed the Insurance Board to pay the Covid-19 insurance to the insured persons with three days.

Writing a letter to the board, the Finance Ministry on Thursday asked the board to provide the insurance claim amount of those waiting for insurance payment with verified document and due process within three days.

The Board is further directed to send the details to the Ministry on insurance payment. The Ministry seeks the disclosure of the number of people seeking insurance payment, number of claims sent to Health Service Directorate for verification and details on the illegal claim of payment.

Undersecretary at the Ministry, Govinda Prasad Subedi said the board had also been asked to provide the details of the problems surfaced on payment claims, and efforts made to solve those problems.
